For those who made their Lists of Threes on Monday, and have retrieved them today, hopefully, you know whether you still stand behind what you wrote. Here’s the deal: Your lists could have been about anything—so long as it concerned YOU! This was a search and discovery mission—a time of reflection—an indictment of how dedicated and committed you are to YOURSELF. This was an opportunity to dig deeper—to look at [and examine] what you KNOW about ALL the parts of you that contribute to make up the whole of you Vs. what you THINK! The good news is that it was free! YOU only had to commission time…for YOU! We live at a time when it seems all the rage to allocate and spend millions of dollars at lavish spas and retreats—in hopes of clearing our minds ~ soothing our souls ~ and pampering our bodies—even—if only for a brief [but] costly moment. Although some can only dream about such an extravagant indulgence—they easily manage to find the time to do so. STILL…there are a great many who can and do make and find both the time and money to experience and enjoy their heavenly indulgences. Consider this: YOU are the living Exclamation Point of God’s true Spirit of Self-Love—of lasting peace ~ strength ~ courage ~ balance ~ knowledge ~ wisdom ~ and success! Be dedicated and committed to MAKING time for YOU. Frequently and consistently draw from that Source within. Your personal growth and development depend on it. Differentiating between what you THINK and KNOW…depend on it! Make more lists…why don’t ya! There’s far more to you than you THINK you KNOW!

Are you happy with where your choices are leading you? Do you know who and what you are counting on to facilitate your getting there? A word of caution: be careful [because] sometimes who and what you count on to build you up and keep you going can also break you down and slow your momentum. Learn to identify and distinguish between what builds and gives AND what dismantles and takes. Recognize what is healthful and uplifting AND what is debilitating and destructive. Oftentimes, what’s up close and personal distorts your view of reality [and] you end up seeing what you want to see rather than what is. THEN…when life’s tests ~ trials ~ and tribulations require that you transition FROM something…you STOP [IN] the PAIN of it all— RATHER than PRESS [THROUGH] to VICTORY— [because] you [feel] hurt and betrayed. However, consider this: take a moment to examine whose door the path of betrayal leads to. Ask yourself, When did I STOP trusting ~ believing ~ and relying on God to supply all my needs? When did I forget that it is “THROUGH Christ who strengthens me that I can do all things—AND that in Him all things are possible?” Stay mindful that to know the Nature of God requires that you get intimate with God. Daily, whether intentional or not, we attempt to discover that which is “For Our Own Good.” To that end, the mind creates files, which get labeled and saved—reopened ~ used ~ added to OR deleted— as needed. THEN…There are also those self imposed rules and habits that we adhere to— that we allow to manipulate [and impact] our ability and our free will to choose wisely—particularly, when it concerns what’s “For Our Own Good.” Consider this: Accept that there will always be moments of inspiration—moments when all your creative cylinders are active and firing. Without fail, there will be those times when you’re emotionally charged with an overwhelming rush of SOMETHING— something that needs to be released ~ heard ~ and expressed in some form or another. Also, accept that it is more than a notion that there will be times when you’re filled with a sense of defeat—invisibility—and vulnerability. AND… that it would be wise to validate those times when you lack the necessary strength, faith, and courage to explore, express, and celebrate being YOU—Permission to be YOU has to come from YOU! Acknowledge those missed opportunities to have pursued a dream ~ a whim ~ or a passion— in absolute abandon…and with absolute conviction! DARE to revisit—click open—use—add to— OR delete those files the mind labels and saves on your behalf! DARE to discover true wisdom and empowerment! DARE to discover the plan God designed “FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!”— BEFORE there were days! DARE to be you…AND only you—THE WORLD AWAITS YOUR ARRIVAL!

Make a list of three things you KNOW you’re capable of doing. AND…make a list of three things you THINK you’re NOT capable of doing. LOOK them over…THEN…PUT them aside for two days. ON THE THIRD DAY…BRING them front and center once again— which is when you’ll EXAMINE your FEELINGS and DETERMINE whether you still stand behind what you wrote three days ago— which will be addressed in Wednesday’s Inspiration on April 2, 2008. UNTIL THEN…Stay mindful that “God created you in His own image and patterned You after Himself.” (Genesis 1:27). FAITH is a terrible thing to waste! Don’t allow life to just happen to you— approach each day [confident] with purpose and intent!

“Win Some, Lose Some,” is no doubt an expression you’ve heard in song OR otherwise. In fact, you’ve probably uttered it yourself. AND…it was probably accompanied by a tilt of the head, shrug of the shoulder, and a sigh— to augment your [silent] “Oh, well…Whatever!” statement of surrender AND agreement—as though you have no control over the matter—when, in fact, you do! God didn’t create Winners and Losers. BUT… He did create Conquers [blessed, willed, and purposed] to succeed and claim the Victory. NOT…for a time…BUT…eternally. Consider this: Winning and Losing is more about SHIFTING and CHANGING the lens through which you view TIMING and INTENT—in general and personally. For instance, if two people apply for a job and one gets it but the other doesn’t, does that mean one lost and the other won? OR…does it simply mean the Timing was Intentionally wrong for one AND right for the other. ONCE you acknowledge and accept that everything you needed to win and lose was already accomplished through Jesus on the Cross…you will be able to hold your head high AND stand up straight; you will not allow your life or your actions to be defined in terms of Winning and Losing [because] you will know that YOUR VERY EXISTENCE IS GOD’S ULTIMATE EXPRESSION AND CONTINUOUS STATEMENT OF VICTORY! WHAT’S FOR YOU IS FOR YOU…IT’S NOT FOR ANY ONE ELSE TO WIN…OR…LOSE!

EVEN longer projections are available for scheduling purposes AND planning ahead. Consider this: The Internet has evolved into an Endless Information and Communication Highway. ANYTHING CAN BE SEEN, HEARD, and WRITTEN— BY ANYONE— AT ANYTIME— AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON! Take a few moments to reflect, ask, and answer: What Up-to-Date Information do you rely on, daily, to Tell You What To Expect ~ to let you know if conditions [influencing your life] are favorable or not? Can you plan and schedule ahead— with confidence —based on your [source] of information? Can you entertain the idea that— like friendship — information should be selected and examined with cultivated discretion and discernment? BOTH… satisfy a specific NEED (known and unknown). Consider this: If you haven’t done so already, discover and develop a Personal Mission Statement. Declare who you are ~ what you’re passionate about ~ what you’re willing to invest and divest— financially, emotionally, physically, exhaustively ~ beyond boarders— to reach a desired goal. Whether right or wrong ~ required or not ~ we live in a society where Statistics have become Enabling Annals of References that dictate ~ govern ~ and ultimately influence our decision-making process. All to often, a set of numbers and percentage signs are juxtaposed to compare and contrast with the intent to manipulate and provoke a desired response to buttress a cause ~ a point of view. That being said, take a moment to consider a few questions: What Statistic Do you want to be in life? What information is being generated about you? Is there enough data to compare and contrast AND statistically offer a favorable response – one you’d approve of and gladly stand behind? OR, would you have to get creative and manipulative to illicit the desired results? Daily, take time to examine the information you release to the world. Like it or not…actions generate data AND data generates statistics that produce information about you ~ make sure it has your stamp of approval!

Consider this: It’s those times when you’re struggling through an Emotional Maze that you PAUSE and RELEASE the WORDS that GOD placed in both heart and mind to EMPOWER and STRENGTHEN ~ NOT ~ CONFUSE and WEAKEN. You are the only one who can choose to seek the clarity you need to make informed ~ strong ~ decisive decisions IN A CRISES ~ that you can still stand behind AFTER A CRISES!
